We want to reassure you that we have put measures in place to support both our communities in Frensham and Dockenfield via our Parish Friend network during the coronavirus emergency. We are identifying vulnerable people and will be offering them both practical and spiritual support.
Our Parish Friends contact details are in the Parish Magazine if you need practical help with shopping, prescriptions, etc. We are offering spiritual support and prayer via telephone. (See contact details below).
We will be recording services weekly and hope to have them ready for you to view from 10.30am every Sunday until the churches are re-opened. As from 17 May they will be recorded in church by Jane and some will contain guest speakers/readers (who will do their recordings from home). These videos will be uploaded to our Frensham Churches channel on YouTube. The attached instructions explain how to find and run them on your computer, tablet or mobile phone. Links to these videos are also on the Services page.
ALL CHURCH SERVICES HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED AND BOTH CHURCHES ARE CLOSED
ALL FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED
ALL CHURCH GROUPS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED (T@3, FORUM, CHERUBS, CHOIR, BELLRINGING, ORGAN RECITALS)
Remember that the Frensham Village shop is also here to help. More information is available here on deliveries for those who are ill or self isolating.
The Bishop of Guildford offers his thoughts here.
Given that the libraries have now closed, we are offering jigsaws and books to those people in our communities who are ill or self isolating. Please contact Eunice and she can arrange a delivery to you that can be left in a safe place.
