Wine Tasting
The 'Sustainable British wine tasting' held over from last year finally took place on 3rd September. Click here to see a report and pictures of the event.
‘Renewable Energy in our Homes’ 10am - 1pm Saturday 21th May 2022
Then we intend to continue the sustainable theme with an event dedicated to ‘Renewable Energy in our Homes’ – helping us all be informed on how to make our homes kinder to the planet with questions like what happens when my gas boiler/central heating needs to be replaced? Could I install solar panels? Does battery storage open up new possibilities? What financial and other support is available? We will be looking for ideas that will make it engaging for all the family and it will also mark the 10th anniversary of the mini hydro-electric installation at the old mill site. Less of a fund raising event, but we still hope to raise money on refreshments and even better if we can identify sustainable energy solutions for our homes as well as our church buildings.

10am - 1pm Saturday 21th May at The Mill House, Frensham (please note the new date).
Safari
Supper Friday
evening September 2022
In
2022, we will be re-instating our main fund raising event for the
year, the ‘Safari
Supper’,
that was very successful in 2019. We plan to run the same format as last time, so we will have starters
and main courses with different hosts and then join together at St
Mary’s Hall for puddings, cheese and coffee… even if we have to
pinch ourselves to imagine that such things will be possible again!
